Kim has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for 23 years. Before coming to the El Dorado Office of Education, Kim supervised seven Family Support Specilists for the Welcome Home Baby home visitation program in Contra Costa County. Kim served on the Advisory Board for the First Five Antioch Family Resource center for three years. Kim previously worked for a Resource and Referral Agency coordinating the work of Resource and Referral Counselors, taught preschool and directed several childcare centers, eventually owning a center for five years. She has taught parenting classes for the Family Stress Center and was a corporate trainer training employees on technieques to balance home, family, and work demands. Kim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley. |
