An Evaluation Committee is established as a Standing Committee of First 5 El Dorado. The charge of the Committee includes the following:
- Review the evaluation plan, including but not limited to the timeline for conducting evaluation activities, the process being employed to complete evaluation activities, strategies for completing evaluation activities, staff involved, and specific outcomes to be measured.
- Monitor and provide general oversight of the Evaluation process to ensure that the expectations established by the Commission are met, including but not limited to the timelines, deliverable products, and the process set forth in the contract.
- Review the deliverable products called for in the Evaluation Plan to ensure that the format, as well as the content, provides and/or results in meaningful and useable data for the Commission.
- Make recommendations to the Commission regarding the evaluation plan’ performance of the assigned Evaluator; if applicable, future request for proposals terms for independent contract evaluation services, and evaluation reports and/or other evaluation deliverable products from the assigned Evaluator.
- Initiate a review of the long term impact of the implementation of the Strategic Plan throughout El Dorado County; identify indicators that will assess the impact; assist in framing the discussion of the Commission on long term results of the discussions held with the Commission; and make recommendations to the Commission as appropriate.
