The Planning and Program Development Committee is established as a Standing Committee of First 5 El Dorado. The Planning and Program Committee’s responsibilities are:
- Review the Strategic Plan and funding allocations to determine funding is consistent per identified needs.
- Identify un-addressed needs and recommend to the Commission methods to address needs either through the RFP process or by Commission directed initiatives.
- Make recommendations to the Commission as to State Commission sponsored initiatives or other funding streams that could be “Matched” for additional funding to the Commission.
- Recommend annual calendar to the Commission.
- Review the Strategic Plan annually and make recommendations for updates to the Commission.
