Bev Korsen was raised in a United States Navy family and traveled throughout the world as a young child, briefly living in the Philippines. Bev was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended elementary, junior high school, high school and Community College. Bev volunteered extensively in the public school system in San Joaquin County; chairing fund raisers, serving on the PTSA and assisting teachers in their classrooms. For the past twenty years, Bev has worked in public education in administrative support, in the secondary school setting and the elementary school setting as an elementary school secretary. Ms. Korsen began her career with First 5 El Dorado after relocating to El Dorado County in 2001.
Ms. Korsen and her husband live in the foothills, and continue to be involved in, and support a variety of athletic and community activities for young adults through a local high school. An avid painter and craftsperson, she enjoys spending time with her children and six grandchildren. |
